Since the beginning of social distancing [1], some of our favorite stars have been experimenting with new hair colors [2] (we see you, Hilary Duff [3]), giving each other haircuts [4], and growing out their facial hair (ahem, KJ Apa and Joe Jonas [5]). The latest celebrity to join the latter category is Cole Sprouse, Apa's Riverdale [6] costar.
Sprouse took to Instagram on Thursday to show us his new handlebar mustache, and we can't help but think he looks eerily similar to Johnny Depp [7] circa 2003's Pirates of the Caribbean [8]. He captioned his latest post [9] simply: "How to polarize a young fanbase."
We're not sure whether his fanbase approves, but we'll be damned if it's not a look.
