Emilia Clarke channeled another queen of our hearts at the 2019 Emmy Awards. Before the Game of Thrones actress walked the red carpet [1] on Sunday night, she shared an Instagram photo of her slicked-back longhaired look which is a tribute to Jennifer Lopez [2] — and J Lo approves!

"@jlo just as heads up you have inspired this years lewk," Clarke wrote in the photo's caption, before thanking her hair stylist Jenny Cho, makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, nail artist Jenna Hipp, and stylist Petra Flannery. "I am one lucky lady to have the best glam squad ever invented," she continued.

Shortly after, it appears Clarke got the ultimate seal of approval from J Lo herself. The Hustlers star responded to Clarke's tribute with an Instagram post of her own, and wrote, "When the Mother of Dragons meets #Ramona. 🔥 #dead #HustlersMovie. I love u."

ICYMI, Clarke is up for outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role as Daenerys Targaryen. Fingers crossed she gets to enjoy the night in true J Lo fashion, with lots of awards.
