Gossip Girl [2]'s Emily Lind just traded in her length for one of this year's biggest haircut trends [3]: the shag. In an Instagram photo shared by makeup artist Vincent Oquendo [4] on Sept. 30, the actress is pictured post-transformation wearing a short, shaggy bob. Lind debuted the haircut at the Yves Saint Laurent fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. According to a few tags on Oquendo's photo, the star's hair was cut by celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez [5].

The shag haircut [6] has made a major comeback over the past year, and Lind follows celebrities like Kendall Jenner [7], Billie Eilish [8], and Zendaya [9], who've all worn them in recent months for special events. Lind hasn't shared what inspired the cut, but whatever it is, we're hoping it's here to stay.
