It looks like Emily Ratajkowski is ready for fall. On Aug. 7, the model posted a photo dump on Instagram showing followers a glimpse at a recent trip that she took with her son. Amidst wholesome scenery filled with cows, grass, and clear blue skies, Ratajkowski's manicure was "serpent"-inspired and moody as hell.

The model's nails were filed into an oval shape [2] and all except her middle finger on one hand and her thumb on the other were painted a deep-red shade. Each tip flaunted a black, dotted, snake-skin print that gave a grungy, "indie-sleaze" vibe [3]. A few swipes of a glossy topcoat later and the look was complete.

Animal-print nails are particularly popular this year, and with fall around the corner, we have a feeling we'll be seeing more of them. People like Megan Thee Stallion, Kylie Jenner, and Dua Lipa [4] have been spotted in their own versions of snake-print nails, demonstrating the many different ways you can wear the look. Pairing the print with french tips [5], glazed-doughnut finishes [6], and even crystal accents [7] will give you a manicure that's eye-catching and unique.
