The Miu Miu runway show at Paris Fashion Week on March 7 was a star-studded event. Zaya Wade made her catwalk debut [2], Jessica Alba [3] and Nicola Peltz Beckham sat front row, and Emma Corrin [4] walked in the show wearing one of the coolest haircuts [5] of the moment: a bixie [6].

The edgy haircut was made for the high-fashion runway. Celebrity hairstylist Daniel Martin [7] gave Corrin a fresh trim and styled the look while Reiss Alexander [8] refreshed the color. With micro bangs [9] in the front and a short length in the back, the style showed off Corrin's features, including their brown eyebrows, which contrast nicely with their platinum-blond color [10]. They wore a light tan turtleneck sweater with rhinestone-embellished underwear and black sheer tights, playing into the no-pants trend [11] that's currently going around the fashion scene.

Corrin's haircut, formally known as a "bixie," is a combination between a pixie [12] and a bob haircut [13] — what sets it apart is the unique length. "It's shorter than a bob, longer than a pixie, and with the hair off the neck and midface," April Peele [14], a hairstylist at Salon SCK [15] in New York City, previously told POPSUGAR.

It's similar to a "mixie haircut," [16] which is a style Corrin has previously worn [17] — this cut has less of a "tail" in the back, moving it away from the mullet territory. Other celebrities to wear a "bixie" in the last year include Halle Berry [18], Demi Lovato [19], Florence Pugh [20], Alexa Demie [21], and Ciara [22].
