Bob haircuts [2] mean business — just ask Eva Longoria [3]. On May 24, the actor teased an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival via Instagram. In the photo, she's wearing a head-turning silver dress as she overlooked a beach-front view. The star of the show? Her new razor-sharp bob.

Courtesy of hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos [4], Longoria's hair was kept its normal caramel-brown color [5] but cut short to just graze the tops of her shoulders. To emphasize the blunt finish, the star's hair was straightened, and she opted for a side part [6] to add some extra glamour. Beige nails and classic, satin-skin makeup completed the look.
