The "Farrah Fawcett Flip" Hairstyle Trend Is All Over TikTok Right Now

Rachel Green's hair might have picked up in popularity when Friends hit Netflix a few years back, but the latest nostalgic hairstyle that everyone from Brie Larson to beauty-lovers on TikTok is trying to copy these days is the "Farrah Fawcett flip."

The hair trend started with Mallory Jade on TikTok, who goes by @groovy_mal, after she showed people how she re-creates the actress's iconic, feathery '70s style with a curler, a round brush, and a lot of head shaking. After Jade's voluminous curls defied gravity, others on the app just had to give the retro hairstyle a try for themselves — but the results were mixed. Although a few styles flopped, most people looked like they just got back from the disco. Even Ciara tried the groovy hairstyle on for size and shared the final look on Instagram — and she looks damn good.

The renewal of the "Fawcett flip" comes on the heels of the '60s-inspired hair-flip style we've been seeing on Instagram. We don't know about you, but we can't wait to see which retro hair look will make a comeback next.
