I absolutely love giving product recommendations. I mean, I make a living from it! On Kirbie Tries, I test out products to deliver not only an honest review but also one that will help you make the decision to purchase. (Or not.) I figure if I can offer anything to you, it's a gift list that will be worth your money and make anyone on your list happy — especially if they're obsessed with beauty. With the holidays in full swing, here are a few gifts you should consider for your loved ones. Don't worry — I've covered all price points and also made some suggestions on who to give each gift to.

For the Skincare Obsessed
Drunk Elephant has really made its mark on 2017. The brand has a natural approach to skin care but warrants results worthy of coming from an A-lister's cosmetic dermatologist. I've personally been impressed with my skin since I started using the T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial once a week and the Framboos Glycolic Night Serum nightly. The powerful alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids are formulated at the perfect pH to ensure your skin is left glowing and even, not ruddy and peeling.
The Night Bright Duo ($28) is perfect for the person who you know really cares about their skin. They are obsessed with getting a glow, maybe want to reverse some damage that's been done, or really need a skin pick-me-up. Whatever the case, this product duo will do the trick.
It comes with both the Framboos and virgin marula oil, which is used to soothe and protect the skin after being exposed to the powerful AHAs and BHAs. I'd suggest using it two to three times a week to see how your skin reacts. It it's too much, cut back; if your skin is fine, you can start to introduce it daily. And if you want to complete the routine, I'd suggest picking up the Babyfacial to go along with it.

For the One Who Can't Get Enough Lipstick
This giftee has two major characteristics: they hoard lipstick and live on Instagram. It doesn't matter that they have the same shade, but from 10 different brands. The point is that they want to build up their library, and no two lipsticks are exactly alike, right?
Instagram is another big part of giving this gift. If they love makeup and you constantly see them swiping through their feed, they probably know of Huda Kattan, the matriarch of digital beauty trends online. Huda has one of the largest Instagram accounts in the beauty category and has been named as one of the most influential women in beauty, so when she launched her own line, it was sure to be a success.
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Minis ($33) has four editions: Nude Love, Pink, Brown, and Red, so you can pick a more understated set or one that's more bold, depending on your giftee's personality.

For the Cool Girl (or Boy)
I'm a huge fan of Jen Atkin. She founded Ouai in 2015, and I've not only been impressed with the offering — like a dry shampoo foam, antifrizz hair sheets, and a really fun take on hair vitamins — but I really appreciate how much fun the brand has. Every launch has a fun play on words, and Ouai does a great job of toeing the line between super trendy and effortlessly chic.
The Ouai to Go Kit ($25) is for the person who embodies the term "effortless." They like to travel and look put-together with minimal effort. It's full of four mini sizes of Ouai's marquee products, like the dry shampoo foam, wave spray, hair oil, and a pack of cheekily packaged hair ties. Because of the brand's name recognition with both influencers and celebrities alike, anyone would feel like they hit the jackpot with this gift.

For the One Obsessed With Their Hair
Hair is one of those deeply personal things that can be hard to shop for. It's my personal philosophy that you don't give people hair products unless you know they're going to love them — like with Ouai. One workaround, though, is to give them something that benefits their hair that isn't a styling product, like Shhhowercap. I am obsessed with these!
Before, shower caps were ugly. You looked geriatric wearing one, regardless of your age. They smelled. They got dingy. You couldn't throw them in the wash. They were gross — let's be honest.
Then Shhhowercap ($43) came along and reinvented hair protection. These caps are cute as hell. They truly do not let any water or humidity get near your hair in the shower. They dry quickly and you can wash them, which is truly a game changer, in my opinion. This is the Ajax style that I think is super fun, but they come in a variety of colors and patterns. If you have someone in your life who loves blowouts or is on a natural-hair journey, they will kiss you straight on the lips after getting this gift.

For the Rose Gold Fiend
Another year, another list this T3 wand set gets added to. I am absolutely obsessed with this wand! It's one of the only hair tools that I think is beautiful enough to display on my vanity. The T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand ($270) is one of those cool contraptions that allows you to customize your hairstyling experience. Depending on the type of look you're going for, you can change out the barrel to make a tighter or looser wave. T3 is a brand built on tourmaline and ceramic technology, so there are five heat settings and the promise that your hair will be smooth after styling. Plus, rose gold has been a huge trend this year.
For anyone in your life who loves styling their hair and loves rose gold, or perhaps styles other people's hair for a living, this is a great gift to surprise them with.

For the Budding Beauty Editor
Glossier is one of my favorite brands, and I always pride it on the fact that it was created by beauty editors. While so many lines are created by celebrities or influencers these days, it's refreshing that an editor was able to use her expertise of the digital landscape and beauty consumer trends to create a well-reviewed maintenance brand.
If the person you're shopping for loves beauty, then they would be thrilled to receive a Glossier gift card. I know. You probably want product recommendations. I can tell you that Body Hero, Cloud Paint, Stretch Concealer, and both masks are on my short list of favorites, but if the person you're gifting is a true budding editor, chances are they'll want the opportunity to select their own products.

For the Practical Makeup-Lover
This was one of my favorite palettes of the year! There were so many palettes that debuted in 2017, but Tarte always gets it right when it comes to wearable neutrals. I'm a Capricorn, so I'm very practical, meaning I lean toward shades that I can wear anywhere — deep browns, siennas, and gilded highlights accentuate my hazel eyes. But I also like having shimmers and mattes mixed in my palettes so I can jazz up my look should I want to. And that's exactly what the Toasted Palette ($46) contains.

For the Person Who Embodies the Definition of "Extra"
If you want shrieks of joy, MAC Cosmetics always does the trick. The Snow Ball Face Bag ($50) includes a snowflake-embossed Extra Dimension Skinfinish and rose gold-handled brush, packaged up in a glitzy sequined bag. Face powders make great gifts because they're universal enough to work on every skin tone, but this one acts as a highlighter, so it will please your most extra of friends.

For the Artist
This person is always creating. Their Instagram looks like it should be in The Met. They love to experiment with makeup — they never sport the same look more than once a week. Seeing them in a pretty peony lip and then a deep sea blue the next day isn't out of the ordinary. Makeup is their craft, and cosmetics are the tools needed to achieve masterpieces. Kat Von D's Everlasting Obsession Lip Liner Collection ($140) includes some of the brand's most iconic shades, like Lolita II, plus daring options like Skully, a deep raven black.
These liners never skimp. They're extremely fluid for a pencil, and they never leave the lips feeling dry. Giving them liners also shows you know they're true craftsmen — they can use any of these under lipsticks or glosses to create truly one-of-a-kind shades.

For the Selfie Queen
No, it's not technically a beauty product. But in 2017, we know that lighting is essential to creating the perfect beauty look. LuMee revolutionized how we take photos by incorporating a lighting setup within a protective phone case. (I dropped my phone endlessly in my LuMee and never worried about shattering my screen.) The LuMee Duo LED Lighting Case ($70) is an upgrade from the original model — it includes lights on both sides of the case.
If you're struggling to pick the perfect beauty gift, the LuMee is the perfect alternative. Because who doesn't want to take a great picture? Just make sure you order the right size for his or her phone!

For the Creator
This person is already heavily into digital content — making it, that is. Or they're aspiring to create their own channel or feed. Whatever the case, you can't create gorgeous content without great lighting. Like the ring light that came before it, Glamcor has created a series of stunning LED lighting setups that cater to whatever needs you might have. I'd suggest the Classic Ultra ($295), which includes two bright LED lamps that you can adjust the color temperature on, meaning you can go warmer for a daylight glow or cooler for a true, crisp white.
These lights are also perfect for anyone in your life who administers aesthetic services, like lash extensions, waxes, microblading, lash perms, etc.

For the Hardest Person to Shop For
You'll blow anyone out of the water with this gift (pun intended): the Dyson SuperSonic Hair Dryer ($399) and carrying case (sold separately). If you know someone is hard to please and you know they blow-dry their hair, and you've got some cash to spend, this is the gift to give. It's the biggest beauty launch of the year — outside of Fenty Beauty, of course — and it's the one dryer that made me love blow-drying my hair.
There is a learning curve because it doesn't have a long "snout," like most dryers. It's lighter and compact, and it's a lot quieter, too. But it gets super hot. It's like seeing a coworker at the beach and discovering they've got a smokin' hot body — at work, they're buttoned up and professional, but they're hiding a secret six-pack underneath.

For the Unicorn in Your Life
My go-to gift is a candle. I feel like everyone deserves to light one and chill out for a while, right? The Diptyque Unicorn Frosted Forest Candle ($70) is a luxury candle that smells like fir and mint, which is a perfect seasonal fragrance, packaged in a festive jar featuring a unicorn.

For the Person Obsessed With Antiaging
I know what you're thinking. This device looks phallic, right? The ReFa Carot Device ($290) made a product that aims to please — your skin, that is.
This is a microcurrent device, so those disco balls (I wish you guys could hear how loud I'm laughing while writing this) are meant to mimic a kneading motion you'd get during a facial, which helps to tone and tighten your skin. It's essentially a contouring device for your face, but you can use it on anything — jawline, arms, neck, even your inner thighs. (I'm not making this up. It says it on the site!) Developed by dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons in Japan, this can be used in between facials or after cosmetic surgery.

For the Celebrity Obsessed
If you need something to impress a person who knows more about celebrities than TMZ, Nurse Jamie usually has the perfect product. Jamie, who owns Beauty Park Medical Spa on trendy Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, CA, has celebrity clients by the dozens — like Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, and Shay Mitchell — and they all love to share their love of her products on Instagram. While lots of doctors and nurses give fillers a bad rap, Jamie is the queen of using a light hand so that her clients always look fresh and rested, not overfilled and puffy. (Some of the most high-profile celebrities see her, but you'd never know it.)
If you can't go see Jamie, her products are the next best thing, obviously. So many people ask me about the EFG Age Delay System ($160), and I cannot rave about these two products more. The EFG Stem Cell Complex is one of my favorite moisturizers because it really works to hydrate my skin without making me look greasy. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly. The stamp presses into the skin to help your products penetrate deeply. Jenna Dewan Tatum and Huda Kattan love this duo.
