I Hate Washing My Hair, but This Curl Shampoo and Conditioner Changed My Mind
Ever since I was little, I've actively avoided washing my hair. Regularly shampooing and conditioning it always seems to make my curls look like Hermonie Granger circa-Philosopher's Stone (read: extremely fluffy) and I hate it. When my curls are clean they separate, frizz and coil so I tend to avoid washing it for as long as I can, think once a fortnight . . . less in Summer.
So for me to increase my washes and find a shampoo and conditioner formula that doesn't kill my curls, metaphorically speaking, of course, is huge. Enter: Goldwell's Curls and Waves collection. Specially formulated for the needs of curly hair, Goldwell's proprietary protein formula instantly hydrates and bundles curls without weighing them down.
The first thing I noticed post-wash was how well my curls air-dried; they held their usual bouncy, ringlet shape. The frizz was practically non-existent and my curls didn't separate or become unruly. It was as though I'd never washed my hair at all and I loved it. It also smells heavenly, which was even more of a reason to wash regularly.
I've been using the Dualsense range once a week for over a month now and I'm committed. The range is comprised of three main products — a Hydration Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum Spray. When used together, these products work to hydrate the hair, define bounce, detangle, strengthen, and moisturize the hair fibers. The shampoo is also formulated with ingredients to minimize color fading with every use, which is excellent news for my blond curls.
If you've got natural wavy, curl, textured or permed hair (and hate washing it) I can't recommend this range enough. It's become my new shower staple and that's saying a lot. Scroll to shop the range.
