Hey, have you heard? Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are getting married [1]. No, no — they're getting married again, in public, with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a normal-person wedding. (Um, kind of.) There was a bachelorette party [2]! Rehearsal dinner [3]! Celebrity guests! Photo sessions on a yacht!
Anyway, the rehearsal dinner took place in South Carolina on Sept. 29, and it was all whimsical and gorgeous and every other thing you'd expect from a couple with a joint net worth of $268 million. But zoom in on the photos, and you'll notice she was also wearing a pearlescent white manicure [4] to match her Jimmy Choo strappy sandals and custom-made Vivienne Westwood minidress. As one does.
Of course, it's not entirely surprising that Baldwin chose an alabaster nail polish color [5] for the occasion (spoiler alert: white is a big theme at weddings), but it is a smart move, given that the shade holds a lot of postnuptials potential. According to NYC-based manicurist and founder of her eponymous brand Jin Soon Choi, white nail polish — particularly one with an iridescent finish, like Baldwin's — is the perfect Fall color [6]. "The pearl element adds an elegant dimension that is ideal for ushering in the new season, when more variation on your nails is needed," she said.
