Halle Bailey Is the Latest Celebrity to Wear the Chrome-Nails Trend

Halle Bailey is officially a fan of the chrome-manicure trend. The singer and actor recently posted a picture of her latest nail look on her Instagram Stories, and the silver-chrome polish she used is so shiny that you can see her reflection in it. Talk about chrome done right.

Captioning the photo "love a good chrome," Bailey used the same polish for a pedicure. She kept her nails a short, square length, commenting "all my short nail girls are the best." Bailey certainly isn't the only Hollywood star wearing the manicure trend — other celebrities, such as Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Dove Cameron, and Kylie Jenner, have also been spotted with different variations of the metallic-nail look.

As for why the trend is making its way back with such fervor, celebrity manicurist and educator Julie Kandalec previously told POPSUGAR that it's all about access. "When it first came out, the chrome pigment was extremely hard to find and was very expensive — about $25 for a very small bottle," she said. "Now, it has become more popular and is easier to find. You can find it pretty much anywhere nail products are sold, including most nail salons."
