Another day, another delectable-sounding beauty trend. On Aug. 30, actor Jenna Dewan [2] posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories showing off her new hair color [3], which is a variation of her signature brunette hue [4].

"Glazed chocolate donut fall vibes," the caption read in part. Dewant went on thank her colorist Matt Rez [5], who has worked with everyone from Adele to Hailey Bieber. In addition to what seems to be a light dusting [6], Rez worked in some caramel-toned highlights [7] throughout Dewan's hair, making her natural deep-brown color pop even more.

For the last year, "glazed doughnut" everything has been trending across social media, thanks to countless celebrities opting for a glossier finish from their nails [8] to their skin [9]. Like its predecessors, the hair version of the glazed trend is defined by its highly reflective shine (meant to embody that of doughnut's), typically achieved by an in-salon gloss treatment or illustrous color.
