Jennifer Lopez [2] is continuing to provide us with chic nail inspiration [3]. The singer and actor touched down in New York City yesterday for the premiere of her new Netflix documentary "Halftime," and she collaborated with her manicurist, Tom Bachik [4], to give us not one but two nail-art looks to celebrate the occasion.
The first nail look was spotted when Lopez posted a picture on Instagram [5], hinting to fans that she'd be in the city. Captioning the photo "You never know where you'll see me in NYC ๐๐งก๐#Halftime [6]," Lopez shared a close-up of her nails, which featured a pink base color and white abstract-line nail art, with 3D floral nail decals [7]. For the red carpet premiere, however, Lopez's nails featured another iteration of the abstract-nail art, but this time, she used black nail polish for the lines and added black floral decals to match her Tom Ford gown [8].
Though Lopez has been known to be a go-to source of inspiration for manicures, these nail looks mark a departure from the star's typical single-color manicures. We've seen her in everything from milk-bath nails [9] to the trending '90s supermodel manicure [10], with her more nail-art-heavy looks usually being reserved for performances or special occasions like holidays. We don't know if Lopez is turning over a new leaf when it comes to her signature manicures, but we wouldn't be mad about it. Take a closer look at her "Halftime" nails ahead.
