The holidays may still be a little ways away, but Jennifer Lopez [3] served up some festive glam inspiration at the People's Choice Awards on Nov. 16. Between her bright red Christian Siriano [4] dress and her golden glowy makeup [5], it's all we can think about.
Celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips [6] was responsible for J Lo's soft glam, while her go-to hairstylist, Chris Appleton [7], created her signature high voluminous ponytail. It was an iconic look for J Lo, who also accepted the coveted Icon Award [8] during the show.
Phillips used two different products, the Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo [9] ($48) and Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Skin Highlighting Trio [10] ($50), to achieve J Lo's next-level awards show glow — proving that you can never have too much highlight. To accentuate her cheekbones, not just any blush would do. The Pat McGrath Labs Luxetrance Lipstick [11] ($19) in the sold-out shade Lebeija gave the singer a natural-looking wash of color on her cheeks.
To finish off her soft glam beat, J Lo wore a bold red lip that matched the shade of her dress. Phillips got this particular shade by lining her lips with the Pat McGrath Labs Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Blood Lust [12] ($28) and mixing the MatteTrance Lipstick in Elson 2 [13] ($38), a fiery orange red, with the shade Obsessed 211 [14], a bright orange red.
(Note to self: try J Lo's lipstick as blush hack ASAP for chiseled AF cheekbones.)
