If you didn't already realize, Jennifer Lopez [2]'s nail game [3] is unmatched. On May 10, the actor attended the premiere of "The Mother" in Los Angeles, California, accompanied by her husband, Ben Affleck [4]. For the occasion, Lopez took her love of neutrals to new heights, wearing a beige three-piece suit and matching clutch, alongside "supermodel" nails [5].

Lopez paid a visit to her go-to manicurist Tom Bachik [6] to get the look. Her nails were filed into a coffin shape [7] and painted a translucent beige shade to complement the rest of her look. No art or decals were added, and a glossy topcoat finished everything off.

"Supermodel" manicures have become a staple for quite a few of Lopez's peers in Hollywood. The look has been spotted on everyone from Hailey Bieber [8] to Florence Pugh [9]. It started to trend after Bachik recreated the '90s-inspired manicure on actor Margot Robbie for the 2021 Oscars. Typically consisting of a sheer color that's worn on its own (as seen on Lopez), "supermodel" nails also pair beautifully with nail-art designs, like Korean blush nails [10] and invisible french manicures [11].
