Joey King is having quite the summer. The "Bullet Train" actor [2], who got engaged to director Steven Peir [3] in February 2022, recently celebrated her bachelorette party [4] in Napa Valley, rang in her 24th birthday, and now, has debuted brand-new bangs. In a photo posted by King's hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos [5], the star's honey-blond hair got a major update with the addition of "Birkin"-style bangs [6].

Characterized by their long, wispy look, Birkin bangs are often eyebrow-grazing in length and parted slightly in the middle. The trend is named after fashion icon Jane Birkin and has been repopularized by celebrities and their respective glam teams. "Bangs , layers, waves , bouffant and the whole shebang," reads Giannetos's caption. He also tagged the brands Wella Professionals and Lev Hair, an extensions company, hinting that King's style included a few hair pieces for extra length and volume.

King has been super experimental with her beauty choices of late, wearing everything from a side-parted asymmetrical pink bob [7] to fishtail eyeliner [8] and pearl accents [9] on her last promotional tour.

Though the occasion behind her most recent look has yet to be determined, she paid a visit to the usual suspects to help her prep. Celebrity makeup artist Allan Avendaño [10] gave her a smoky eyeshadow look with thick, curled eyelashes and a pink satin lip. She wore a black, strapless corset-style top with lace detailing and accessorized with a chunky gold chain necklace and bangle.
