Jordyn Woods is kicking off summer with a sun-kissed look. On June 14, the star debuted a new mushroom-blond hair color in photos shared on her Instagram account. "Quick trip . . . new hair who dis," she captioned a mirror selfie of her glossy waves. Swept into a voluminous side part, Woods's hair shimmered in the sunlight just like her bejeweled Prada phone case.
Applied by hair extensionist and colorist Kaleah Slay [1], the hair color is an unexpected departure from Woods's natural brunette. Recently, she's been rocking waves with coppery highlights, making her mushroom-blond hair all the more noteworthy. Originally a fall hair trend, this particular shade of blond [2] features cool beige and nude undertones and dark-brown roots — not a bad way to keep cool this season.
Woods's latest transformation comes one month after she wore honey-blond hair [3] at the PrettyLittleThing x Kappa launch party in Hollywood. She completed the look with neutral lip liner, rosy lip gloss, and floating red eyeliner. In December 2022, Woods also tested out the icy-blond hair trend [4] on the red carpet at the "Avatar: The Way of Water" premiere. Her braided hairstyle, created by MiMi G. [5], wrapped around either side of her head before dropping over the shoulders of her glow-in-the-dark dress [6] and intertwining with her waist-length waves.
