Kaia Gerber is not one to shy away from big hair changes — the supermodel is constantly changing up her look. There was that time she chopped off all her hair into a supershort bob [1], that time she went blond [2], and that time she dyed her hair punk pink [3] while social distancing at home. Now, she's opted to take her look in an entirely different direction and got retro shag haircut [4] with eyebrow-grazing bangs [5].
Gerber's latest hairstyle had its debut at the 2021 InStyle Awards. For the star-stubbed event on Nov. 15, Gerber wore a white sequin-covered dress and silver eyeliner on her top and bottom lashes to match. The real showstopper of her entire look, however, was her shoulder-length hair that was styled in loose waves with long wispy bangs that hung down into her eyes. She practically looked like mom Cindy Crawford [6]'s twin. The hairstylist behind the transformation is Dimitris Giannetos [7] who shared an Instagram post about the look and captioned it, "@kaiagerber is serving a new SHAG w choppy bangs for @instylemagazine awards and I'm here for it !"
