There were plenty of big beauty moments at the 2022 Met Gala [1], but none were bigger than Kaia Gerber's curls.

Thanks to the model's voluminous hair, middle part [2], and beaded hair clips on either side of her head, it's clear she nailed this year's theme of "Gilded Glamour [3]." As she crossed the red carpet with her boyfriend Austin Butler [4], you could see her studded metallic dress by Alexander McQueen on full display. Still, veteran hairstylist Guido Palau [5] made sure her hair took that glamour up a notch.

This is the second time Gerber has attended the Met Gala, but the look is a start contrast to her first appearance last year. In 2021, she wore a sleek cropped bob in Hollywood waves, so she opted for something bigger and bolder this year.
