Ta-da, Kim Kardashian has curtain bangs. On Feb. 8, the Skims founder debuted her new haircut at a Valentine's Day pop-up shop for her shapewear brand in Los Angeles. Her longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton [1], took her long black hair and added ghost layers [2] and side-swept bangs.
This look is quite different from her platinum blond era [3], which came to a close in the middle of 2022 when the entrepreneur went back to black. In January, she showed fans her real hair length [4] in a candid TikTok on her joint account with daughter North West, showing her unstyled, shoulder-length hair.
Kardashian likely achieved her latest look with high-performing hair extensions and Appleton's styling magic. Real or not, we're loving this new style with extra volume coming from her layers and bangs [5].
In December 2022, Kardashian's sister Khloé upped the ante with more dramatic bangs. She debuted wispy, Birkin bangs [6] courtesy of Andrew Fitzsimons [7] and later revealed that the dramatic look was simply from a clip-in hair piece and not an actual haircut.
