Looks like Kourtney Kardashian has a new go-to manicure. On Aug. 11, the reality star shared a photo of her freshly painted supermodel nails [2] — yep, the same subtle pink nail look [3] she had when she married Travis Barker [4] in May. However, this time around, Kardashian displayed the minimalist trend [5] on her natural nails, rather than almond-shaped extensions [6].
"I cut all my nails off and now my little baby nails are back," she wrote on Instagram Stories, tagging Los Angeles-based manicurists Kim Truong [7] and Diem Truong [8], who've worked with the Kardashian sisters numerous times in the past.
Decidedly more low-key than other nail trends [9] in the spotlight this year (we're looking at you, swirl nails [10] and chrome manicures [11]), supermodel nails are characterized by a simple sheer-pink base color, cleaned-up nail beds, and a lack of additional designs or embellishments. They're the perfect option for brides, "clean-girl" aesthetic enthusiasts [12], or anyone who prefers to let their outfit be the center of attention sans distractions. Plus, supermodel nails already have the seal of approval from tons of celebrities, including Zendaya [13], Ciara [14], Jennifer Lopez [15], and Ana de Armas [16], so what's not to love?
Kardashian is always experimenting with her nail looks. Earlier in the week, the mother of three opted for an all-black manicure while enjoying a lakeside family vacation [17] with Barker and several of their kids.
