Lily James has become quite the hair chameleon this year, and we are here for it. Just in time for the holidays, the "Pam & Tommy" star [2] showed off a chic new hairstyle on Dec. 14 that feels very on theme for this time of year. Chopped into a lob haircut [3], James's hair was back to a warm copper tone [4] with dark brunette shadow roots [5], emulating the perfect feel of a gingerbread latte.

While this tone isn't new — she sported a similar shade at the Emmys [6] to match her copper Versace dress — the cut is the shortest it's been this year. The lob sits just at her shoulders, as hairstylist Christian Wood [7] shaped her curtain bangs to create an effortlessly elegant look. The portrait shots were taken by Sofia Tilbury, who also did the star's makeup look using Charlotte Tilbury products [8].

This most recent look is the latest in a long list of hair transformations for the actor. This year, James has also been a dark brunette, and shortly after, she took inspiration from her role as Pamela Anderson by dyeing her hair a brassy blond [9]. She also looked unrecognizable with a blunt fringe, black hair, and bleached eyebrows [10] in Versace's autumn/winter campaign.

As James continues to shake up her look, we can't wait to see what 2023 will bring.
