Hello, Marsai Martin in yet another impeccable manicure [2]. On March 18, the actor and producer attended the red carpet screening for the Disney+ series "Saturdays" in Burbank, California. For the event, she wore a lacy three-piece suit, a wavy lob [3], and most importantly, "rich girl" nails [4].

Martin's nails were filed into a tapered-square shape [5], and true to the trend, they were also painted a creamy "greige" color (which is a combination of gray and beige) with a pearlescent finish. No nail art was added to the look, allowing the solid polish to remain front-and-center — all while complementing her outfit perfectly.

The "rich girl" nail trend was initially coined by celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik [6], who has created the look on Jennifer Lopez [7], Bella Hadid, and more. The hue was inspired by the early cool-toned polishes used by Chanel, but to get the color to work for your personal preferences, Bachik recommends choosing a tone one shade lighter or one shade darker than your natural skin tone. This allows for a classic and understated look that's done with intention.
