Megan Rapinoe [1] is almost as recognizable for her pink hair as she is for her skills on the soccer field (keyword: almost), and the athlete just got a major hair color upgrade. The Reign FC winger and member of the National Women's Soccer League [2] got a visit from celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri [3] for a touch-up.

Capri documented the entire color session on her Instagram Story, transforming Rapinoe's hair from a faded light pink to a vivid magenta hue. The hairstylist even included pictures of the flowers, which appear to be crepe myrtle, that inspired her to create a bright color. To get the vivid hue, Capri first used Joico Color Eraser [4] ($8) to strip the hair of any leftover pink. Next, she created the custom hue by blending Joico dyes in orchid, pink, and soft pink until it matched her bouquet.
