Nicola Peltz Beckham is ready to hit the "Barbie" theaters [1]. On July 19, nail artist Tom Bachik [2] shared a close-up of Beckham's manicure, which he dubbed the "Barbie french." Filed into a classic oval shape, Beckham's nails featured a deep french design [3] — a traditional style with thicker tips — in a baby-pink hue. The simple manicure accentuated her massive, emerald-cut engagement ring [4] and diamond wedding band stacked on top.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated film release [5] on July 21, celebrities — including those who have no affiliation with the movie — have been embracing the aesthetic [6] with their Barbie nails [7]. In fact, a few days prior, Bachik gave Selena Gomez [8] a bright pink manicure to match her outfits. Of course, "Barbie" stars Margot Robbie [9] and Issa Rae [10] have also committed to the theme. Robbie was seen with minimalist, blush-colored nails and an edgier pink chrome manicure [11] throughout her press tour, while Rae recently wore a split french manicure featuring two different shades of pink.
While Beckham's Barbie-pink choice may be temporary, the actor has long been a fan of the french mani. In January, she celebrated her 28th birthday wearing what Bachik referred to as a blizzard french manicure [12], and on several occasions, has been spotted with the classic version [13].
