Nina Dobrev [2] is the latest celebrity to hop on the minimalist beauty wave [3] sweeping Hollywood. While enjoying a night out with friend Maggie Rogers, the actor's '90s-supermodel nails [4] could be spotted wrapped around her drink, adding an elegant touch to her timeless beauty look.

Dobrev's nails were shaped [5] into short ovals and painted a sheer pink color [6] — a key component of the supermodel manicure. No additional nail art [7] was added to the look, allowing the polish to shine in its simplicity. Dobrev completed her ensemble with an elegant updo with face-framing pieces of hair on each side, a subtle cat eye [8], and bold red lips [9].

Nineties-supermodel manicures have previously been seen on other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez [10], Kylie Jenner [11], and, most recently, Lucy Hale [12]. The look was repopularized by celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik [13] in late 2021 and has coincided perfectly with the rise of the "clean-girl" nail trend [14].
