Gloria Swanson

Gloria Swanson was one of the original true movie stars and a favorite collaborator of legendary director Cecil B. DeMille. These days, we only tend to remember her later roles, particularly her iconic turn as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, which is a shame, because her acting and incredible style inspired women for decades.
