Selena Gomez's newest song, "Single Soon," [1] dropped on Aug. 25 and quickly became a summer anthem for fans everywhere. In the accompanying music video, which pays tribute to "Sex and the City" [2] and the iconic group of four (largely single) friends, Gomez has a girls' night of her own. She goes from dinner to the club, dressed in a pink sequined dress [3] and equally sultry makeup.
To get camera-ready, she enlisted the help of her full glam team, including celebrity makeup artist Melissa Murdick [4], who later shared a full product breakdown of the singer's look. To no one's surprise, Gomez is wearing a full face of Rare Beauty products in her video. From "Only Murders in the Building" [5] to her Hulu cooking show, "Selena + Chef," the star always likes to rep her own products.
"It was supposed to be really sexy but fun and lighthearted," Murdick says about the glam in a TikTok video. "I did more of a strong eye that has purple tones to it, I did a pink glossy lip, and a bronze glowy cheek."
She used a total of 13 products to get the look, and she shared a step-by-step tutorial for re-creating it at home. Keep scrolling to learn more.

Re-Create Selena Gomez's Makeup in "Single Soon"
Starting with the eyes, Murdick used the lightest shade from the Magnetic Spirit Eyeshadow Palette [12] ($25) all over the lid to create a base. Then, she blended the hot-pink, magenta hue into the crease of the eye and began to form the cat eye. Next was the new Perfect Strokes Longwear Gel Liner in True Black [13] ($19) to line the top and bottom waterline of the eye and create a small flick of a wing in the outer corner.
She then returned to the eyeshadow palette to use the deep-purple hue to smoke out the upper and lower lash lines and form a wing. Last but not least, she covered Gomez's top and bottom lashes in multiple coats of the Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara [14] ($20).
For Gomez's base, Murdick used the Liquid Touch Flawless Foundation [15] ($30) in 210N and the Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer [16] ($22) in 210N on top to clean up underneath the eye. Her bronzed cheeks were achieved using a combination of two products: the Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick in Happy Sol [17] ($26) mixed with the Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in Mesmerized [18] ($25). On top, she added a touch of blush using the Soft Pink Liquid Blush in Hope [19] ($23) and brightened the highlight with the Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in Mesmerized [20] ($25).
For brows, she simply filled them in with the Brow Harmony Precision Pencil [21] ($19) in the shades Rich Taupe and Cool Brown. To set the look, she spritzed on the Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist [22] ($27).
The finishing touch was Gomez's glossy lip, which featured the Kind Words Matte Lip Liner in Worthy [23] ($15) and a touch of the With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm in Empathy [24] ($16). Gomez even uses the balm in the video for a quick touch-up before going out.
