Shawn Mendes is the latest celebrity to go super short with their hair [2] in 2023. On Jan. 7, the singer was spotted leaving a coffee shop with a friend, and his shaggy brunette hair was cropped into a buzz cut [3].

Closely shaven on the sides, teetering on the edge of a fade [4], and shaped in the front to accentuate Mendes's bone structure, the haircut also shows off his widow's peak. Save for his natural hair color [5], the singer looked like a totally different person. "I think everyone should know what they look like with a shaved head," the singer said in a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine [6]. "I also was just feeling this urge to just shake myself up a little bit." Mendes paired the new cut with a relaxed outfit that consisted of a loosely tied scarf, sweatpants, a white shirt, and a cardigan.
