Pink Patisserie is a baking blog created in June of 2011 that grew out of my un-abiding love and obsession with all things French; pastry specifically. You will find French pastry featured there, but you will also find desserts, pastry and sweets of all persuasions. I frequently feature family recipes that highlight my Scandinavian ancestry both sweet and savory. Many of those recipes are grounded in the skills, heritage and traditions taught to me by my Swedish and Norwegian Grandmothers. Most recipes have been lovingly passed down, others are developed and tested by me. I have a passion for fresh, abundant, seasonally available ingredients. I love nothing more than creating desserts and dishes that highlight that beautiful produce and the freshest locally sourced products that can be found.
