The women on Forbes's fifth annual list of the 100 most powerful women in the world control $26 trillion worldwide, and the list is an impressive grouping of government and company leaders. While these individuals are doing quite well for themselves, women hold just 15 percent of top corporate jobs in the US and are chief executives for less than 3 percent of the country's biggest companies. Wow, what an amazing list with some amazing women. This is such a great thing, even though I wish it was more women instead of the 15% that held corporate jobs.

i think that it's wonderful that Ms. Rice is still on the list and up there - although i think that she's slipping a bit no? i wonder what will happen in the years to come. i did see that the Chancellor of Germany is up there and that's really interesting to me.
