Stepmom's (1998) Isabel is a successful photographer who suddenly must take on more responsibilities as a parent. Her husband's ex-wife and mother of his two children (played by Susan Sarandon) is terminally ill. The kids give Isabel a hard time, especially since Isabel is forgetful, busy, and much younger than their mother. It's a major adjustment for both Isabel and her stepchildren.
