Highest-Paying Internships

These Interns Are Making More Money Than You

Gone are the days of interns scraping by on minimum wage, and heralded in is the golden age of interns making bank. Well, only for a lucky few, that is. Glassdoor put together a list of the 25 highest-paying companies for interns, with monthly wages ranging from $4,653 up to $7,012.

If you estimate annual salaries from this list, some of these interns are making more than $75,000, which is more than the median household income — $53,046 — in the US. Most of the companies listed are based in San Francisco, which isn't a surprise, as many of them are tech companies. The top three are Palantir Technologies, VMware, and Twitter — all in tech. The nontech companies, which include ExxonMobil and Chevron, are in the energy sector. Read the list below, and prepare to weep.
