I'm Asking: What Are Your 2010 Career Goals?

Your foremost goal in this economic climate might simply be to keep your job, but a stagnant economy doesn't mean we have to stop thinking of where we're going with our careers.

It's important for your professional growth and your personal satisfaction to constantly be thinking about your goals and how you're going to achieve them. So tell me, what are your career goals for the new year and beyond?

I definitely hope to keep my job, so that would be #1. Also, to find another job either within my company (ideally) or outside if neccessary.

@snarkypants I agree 100%. I also want a job that pays me for everything that I do. Tired of pulling the weight of others for the same pay.

This will depend entirely on if I am accepted into my grad program, but for now I am: 1) setting my sites on exceeding my fees/projects managed by 25% in my current position 2) meet with a recruiter to discuss other options 3) explore earning a certificate in project management.
