Vacation Woes

Dear Sugar
My girlfriends and I are trying to plan a trip together but everyone is in different financial situations. I work really hard and rarely get the opportunity to take time off. When I do, I like to pamper myself. I am willing to go on an all-inclusive vacation for the sake of the group, but I'd like to at least have some nice meals out. I was also looking forward to a massage, but I don't want to rub it in anyone's face since they can't afford one. How can I approach this? --Tripped out

Dear Tripped out
Know your group. If you want spa days and fancy dinners, then the budget crew isn't the one you should be traveling with. Going away with friends is about being together and having fun. You don't want them to feel stressed out about money. If I were you, I'd forgo the nice meals. But a massage is another story. How you spend your money on yourself should not affect the group. If a rub down is your guilty pleasure, go for it! La Dolce Vita!
