Would You Rather Be a Bartender or a Sommelier?

It's hard to pass judgment on a career you haven't had, but forget education, relevant experience, and interview contacts for a second. Which career do you think is cooler?

i kind of have to say bartender - cause i'm certified to be one. i still think that would be my preference though. i really do appreciate a person with GREAT wine knowledge, but i feel like there's an 'air' to the title that just makes it seem more auspicious and snobby than a 'bartender'. although, bartenders have their reputations too i suppose. i just like the variety in what i do as a bartender rather than knowing wine.

Sommelier, it's just classy...it's just sexy when someone knows what they're talking about....

I'd rather be a Sommelier even though I'm not huge on wine, the major reason being that I've been to bars where drunk guys have tried to hit on more female bartenders, and putting myself in those shoes, I would probably come off as bitchy and get fired. :)

I rather be a certified Sommelier for a string of restaurants and hotels. I generally don't like bar scene unless the venue is classy.

A bartender. You make crazy money on tips and the drinks are a lot more fun to make. Plus, I'm not much of a wine person, so being a sommelier just doesn't appeal to me much.
