Adam Levine has made a heartwarming gesture in the aftermath of The Voice alum Christina Grimmie's tragic death on Friday [1]. The "Sugar" singer, who coached the 22-year-old on the sixth season of the hit show and helped her come in third place, has offered to pay for her funeral expenses [2]. Christina's brother Marcus, who was at her show and tackled the shooter to the ground before the suspect fatally shot himself, revealed Adam's generosity in a Facebook post [3] on Sunday. "I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away," he wrote.

Christina died after being fatally shot while signing autographs after her concert in Orlando, FL, last week. Adam then took to Twitter to share an emotional tribute to his friend, posting a cute selfie of the two of them and writing, "Behati [Prinsloo] and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie's death. Our hearts go out to her family."
