Adam Rippon's debut Oscars appearance was not bad — not bad at all. The 28-year-old figure skater hit the red carpet with fellow Olympian and friend Mirai Nagasu [2] while wearing a sexy Moschino suit [3] with a leather harness. Adam's memorable night was really taken to the next level, however, when he met one of his celebrity crushes!

On Instagram Stories, Adam shared a sweet selfie of him with Shawn Mendes inside the Dolby Theatre. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres [4], Adam named Shawn as his top celebrity crush [5] right now, along with Harry Styles and Jake Gyllenhaal [6]. "I used to have a really big crush on Harry Styles," Adam said. "Here's the thing: I was sleeping on Shawn Mendes . . . I didn't realize how cute he was!" We think it's safe to assume that meeting Shawn in person only confirmed Adam's realization about the singer's cuteness.
