George Clooney and his new fiancée, Amal Alamuddin, looked very much in love last month when they celebrated their engagement alongside pals Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford in LA, shortly before their big relationship news went public. Amal flashed her massive ring during the party, which was reportedly designed by George himself and features an ethically mined 7-carat diamond on a platinum setting.
Amal and George's engagement news broke in April. The reports were quickly confirmed when Amal's law firm sent out a press release to send the couple "best wishes and congratulations" on their big relationship news. George was previously married in the early '90s to actress Talia Balsam, but their romance ended in divorce. (Don't feel bad for Talia, as she went on to get married to another silver fox, John Slattery, whom she costars with on Mad Men.) After he split with Talia, George went on to date many beautiful women, none of whom he ever got serious with enough to pop the question. However, it looks as if George has met his match with Amal.
The partying wasn't over for the newly engaged couple as they hit up a bash with Rande and Cindy over the weekend in LA. The fete was reportedly a more public celebration for their engagement and rumored guests included U2 frontman Bono.
