Amal Clooney is getting back to work after ringing in her fourth wedding anniversary [1] with George Clooney [2] on Thursday. On Friday, the human rights lawyer [3] attended the United Nation's Committee to Protect Journalists event in NYC. Clad in a structured red dress [4], Amal served as one of the panelists [5] and spoke about the freedom of press and the imprisonment of journalists around the world.
Amal and George first met in Lake Como [6], Italy, in 2013, and it was love at first sight for George. In fact, the actor previously told David Letterman [7] that he "chased her for many months, calling and writing." Well, George's efforts paid off, because the two are now happily married and have two kids together, twins Alexander and Ella [8].
