Amber Tamblyn is expecting a baby girl with husband David Cross. The actress shared the news in an op-ed written for Glamour magazine [1] on Wednesday in which she discussed the ways mothers and daughters can change the way we talk about women and sexual assault. She wrote, "Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way," adding, "I think constantly about the world I am bringing her into."

It's the first child for Amber and her comedian husband, who got married in 2012 after four years of dating. We're sure the news is extra exciting for Amber's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costar and longtime friend Blake Lively [2], who recently welcomed her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds [3].
