Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham are parents! The Bachelor couple welcomed a baby girl named Alessi Ren Luyendyk [1] on May 29. "We have a healthy, BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6lbs, 13oz 20cm long," Arie announced on his Instagram stories. "Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy." Lauren also shared a picture of their little girl [2] on Instagram. Earlier that morning, Arie announced that Lauren was in labor when he shared a photo of them smiling in the hospital, writing, "IT'S HAPPENING!"
The pair first met on season 22 of the reality series and got engaged during a dramatic After the Final Rose special [3] in March 2018. Almost eight months later, Arie and Lauren announced they were expecting their first child [4]. In January 2019, the couple tied the knot [5] during a gorgeous ceremony in Maui, surrounded by family and friends [6], including Bachelor alums Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici [7]. The ceremony was also officiated by the show's host, Chris Harrison. Congrats to the couple and their new bundle of joy!
