Ashlee and Jessica Simpson [1] got an early start on Christmas this year. On Friday, the sisters celebrated Ashlee's 30th birthday [2] amid a Winter wonderland in LA. The party was complete with faux snow, Christmas lights, and even a blow-up snowman, all of which Ashlee's husband, Evan Ross, showed off on Instagram. "Last night made it @ashleesimpsonofficial favorite holiday Christmas in California," Evan captioned a snap with his wife and pals. "It was a snowy one. Happy birthday baby." Meanwhile, Jessica got in on the holiday spirit with an elaborate mask surrounding her eyes, which "took about 3 washes" to remove, she joked in her Instagram post.

Throwing memorable bashes is nothing new for the family. In late August, Ashlee and Evan tied the knot [3] in a bohemian-themed wedding at the home of his mom, Diana Ross.
