On Monday, the couple was spotted holding hands while shopping in Beverly Hills. Ashlee looked effortlessly cool in a black sweater, jeans, and leopard-print boots, while Evan sported an Iron Maiden sweatshirt and jeans. The pair most recently attended the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony [2] in Washington DC, where Evan's mom, Diana Ross, was honored. Evan shared a sweet family photo [3] from the event last week on Instagram, writing, "What a GREAT DAY it was. Celebrating MOM and all the other INCREDIBLE recipients!!! #medaloffreedom." Also among the recipients were Tom Hanks [4], Robert De Niro [5], and Ellen DeGeneres, who couldn't help but get a little teary [6] as she was presented with a medal by President Barack Obama.
