Back of Ashley Olsen Is a Fashion Designer in America Ashley Olsen was rolling solo as she arrived into LAX yesterday afternoon. She's often jet-setting between the East and West coasts, as she enjoys her California lifestyle and manages her NYC-based fashion businesses. Her dedication to The Row is paying off — she and Mary-Kate were just inducted into the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America. The twins will have yet another industry event to get decked out for when they, along with the rest of the year's nominees, are toasted at reception in October. Why would she ever wear that? ckeller825 8 years I agree with bvfashion...just because they choose to dress a certain way doesn't mean they don't have an eye for fashion. I happen to think they're quite fashion forward, and I applaud those that wear whatever the hell they want and not caring what other people think. The Row is most definitely a great line, and I would die for some of the pieces if I had the money. jenni5 8 years Hopes she designs a line of clogs like she's wearing...those would be a huge seller! bvfashion 8 years I love how people are saying they can't be good designers based on how they dress. Take a look around. Many amazing designers don't dress super fashionably or trendy. Marc Jacobs in his prime didn't look anything like how he looks today. The Row is a great line, and the pieces really are well made and well designed. Good for them. ilanac13 8 years it's amazing how travel styles differ for folks. she's always very casual and ppl like victoria beckham are always dressed to the nines. jenwils 8 years What on earth is this midget wearing? Fashion my ass. I never took them v seriously as designers, but now ... forget about it. azh 8 years the trolls hahaha.. the 60 year old trolls... mildred 8 years are u sure this isn't mary kate?? hmweis1 8 years I just think if they want to be respected by the fashion world, then they should at least get out of their pajamas before going to the airport. Liag 8 years Annonmous 1. Why shouldnt the "trolls" be inducted? I'm not a fan of theres personally, however i do wear there line and i like it so do many people. Unlike some celebs they havnt just slapped there names on a main label and riped the profits. These girls actually WORK! babaloo 8 years maybe money can't buy you happiness runningesq 8 years there are homeless people better dressed than this. jaan_black 8 years throw all clogs out the window please...jeez...and if I had to base their clothing line on shyt they wear, I'll pass...they constantly look hobo-ish missyd 8 years did she roll out of bed, throw on her great grandfather's cottage/hunting sweater, and walk out the door Yogaforlife 8 years I am not familiar with their clothing line although I think they went to school to study fashion design. Regardless, I think most of the time they look like a trainwreck when they are not done up for some gala. mlen 8 years while it might be a little premature for the induction, their clothes are definitely different than those of the average celeb designer. they seem much more invested in it, instead of just putting their name on it without actually doing any work. while i think their stuff is a bit pricey, i'd still wear a lot of it.
