Yolanda Foster and her children, Bella, Gigi, and Anwar Hadid, attended the Global Lyme Alliance Inaugural Gala [1] on Thursday night in NYC. The evening carried a powerful significance for the famous family — Yolanda, who opened up about her struggle with Lyme disease [2] earlier this year, was accepting the "Power of One" award, presented by her daughter Gigi. When she took the stage to accept her honor, she revealed that Bella and Anwar also suffer from the disease. Read an excerpt from her speech below.

"When my two youngest children, Bella and Anwar, were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in early 2012, watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support me in my journey, struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me . . . This award is for Anwar and Bella. This is my token and my promise to you that I will not allow you to live a life of pain and suffering. I will walk to the end of the earth to find a cure so that you can live a healthy life that you deserve. No child should suffer the way that you do . . . I thank you both for your extraordinary selflessness during this journey. Your unwavering love and compassion has kept me alive and fighting through the darkest days of my life."

While it's clear the family has faced their fair share of struggles, they seem more bonded than ever against the terrible disease. We've seen so much sisterly love between Gigi and Bella [3] recently, and even Anwar is following in their footsteps in the modeling world [4].
