Possible Partners? Ben Affleck Meets With Gone Girl Director David Fincher!

Ben Affleck met fellow director David Fincher for a lunch date in LA on Tuesday. The duo may have been discussing a possible partnership since news broke that Ben is in negotiations to star in Gone Girl, which David is in line to direct. In the upcoming project, Ben will reportedly star as Nick, a husband who's left as the prime suspect after his wife goes missing upon their fifth wedding anniversary. He would be joining another big name already tied to the film in Reese Witherspoon, since she is set to produce the project, which will be an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's bestselling mystery novel. Along with talks of his new role, Ben is due to hit the red carpet soon for the promotional tour for his new film Runner, Runner, which also stars Justin Timberlake. The Runner, Runner trailer was released last month, and the thriller is set to hit theaters on Sept. 27.
