Ben Affleck may have skipped the Oscars [1], but he did get in on the fun when he joined his wife Jennifer Garner [2] at Vanity Fair's annual post-awards-show bash [3] in LA on Sunday. He also got a special little surprise when Glenn Close sidled up to him, grabbed his arm, and scored a very classy photobomb. (Don't worry, both Ben and Jennifer seemed to enjoy Glenn's antics.) Earlier in the evening, Jennifer had taken a solo trip to the Academy Awards [4], where she worked as a presenter and also cheered on her Dallas Buyers Club costars Matthew McConaughey [5] and Jared Leto [6] as they took home two big acting awards. Last week, Ben made headlines when he traveled to Washington DC to testify in a Senate hearing about the state of the Democratic Republic of Congo. His visit went viral after he had an awkward handshake with Secretary of State John Kerry [7] following his testimony.
