Beyoncé and Solange Knowles's sisterly bond has been going strong for decades. The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to wish Solange a happy 29th birthday by sharing a sweet snapshot of the pair from their childhood. In the photo, the two flash huge smiles for the camera while sitting in what appears to be a small carnival ride. "Happy Birthday to my sis! I love you deep," Beyoncé captioned the picture. She also shared a tender moment between Solange and Blue Ivy [2] from Solange's wedding day. Blue Ivy, aka the world's coolest toddler [3], can be seen sweetly applying eye makeup for her aunt.

Solange's birthday marks the end of a major year for the singer and DJ. After marrying her longtime love, Alan Ferguson [4], in November, she jetted off on a picture-perfect Brazilian honeymoon [5], attended her mom Tina's gorgeous wedding [6], and stunned on the Met Gala red carpet [7].
