Bindi Irwin took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartbreaking new photo of her late father [1], Steve Irwin. The image is especially poignant — it's the last time Bindi was photographed with Steve. In the accompanying caption, Bindi wrote, "The last photo ever taken of us as a family. The day before I had to wave goodbye to my hero, without knowing it would be the last time. But Dad, I know you walk beside me always and your strength lives within me. I love you." To make matters more emotional, the post dropped just as Bindi gave a final, tear-inducing performance on Dancing With the Stars [2]. Bindi has done such a wonderful job honoring her father in the past couple months. Back in September, she commemorated the ninth anniversary of his death [3] with another Instagram message, and on the show, she celebrated him with a heart-wrenching tribute [4], set to "Every Breath You Take."
